The use of pearlescent offset inks is known to be very critical due to transfer problems, poor optical effect and residuals of pearlescent pigments in the dampening system of the offset unit.
The PEARLSTAR® Litho 06 3001 silver is overcoming all those problems.
A special surface treatment of the pearlescent pigments avoids any pigment transfer through the dampening system and provides a very good pigment wetting at the same time resulting in a perfect pigment and ink transfer. In combination with the optimized binder system and the right choice of particle size the PEARLSTAR® Litho 06 3001 silver is offering a unique press performance as well as an impressive optical effect.
