ECKART Asia Limited is a 100% subsidiary of ECKART GmbH, Germany, serving the paint, coating, printing, plastic, cosmetic and personal care markets of PR China, Hong Kong and Vietnam. 

Former organization of ECKART Asia, E J Chemicals Co., Ltd was founded in July 1998.  It was a joint venture between ECKART GmbH & Co. KG Germany and Jebsen & Co., Ltd., Hong Kong.  In January 2004, ECKART GmbH & Co. KG acquired remaining shares of E J Chemicals from former joint venture partner, Jebsen & Co. Ltd. Hong Kong.  The company has been renamed to ECKART Asia Limited since February 2005.

ECKART is the leading manufacturer of effect pigments and printing inks for paints and coatings, graphic arts, plastics and cosmetics industries. With some 1,850 employees around the world, the company currently develops and produces metallic and pearlescent pigments in powder, paste and pellet form, as well as metallic and pearlescent concentrates, dispersions, printing inks.  Eckart has representation in over 70 countries around the world and is a member of Altana Chemie, Germany. ALTANA Chemie develops and produces high-quality, innovative products in the specialty chemicals business. The chemicals activities of the ALTANA Group as a globally active group of companies are consolidated in ALTANA Chemie AG. ALTANA Chemie AG with its headquarters in Wesel, Germany, is the holding company for the Divisions Additives & Instruments, Effect Pigments, Electrical Insulation and Coatings & Sealants.

In addition to the products offering from ECKART, ECKART Asia also sell & market brands of the following internationally renowned manufacturers in China, Hong Kong & Vietnam.

ECKART Asia employs 90 people in China, Hong Kong and Vietnam.  Our supply chain is backed-up by our warehouses in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Guangzhou. A Laboratory has been established in Shanghai to enhance technical support to business partners and customers.
