Employee qualifications
Over 90 percent of our employees have completed a vocational training course or are graduates. Some examples are given below:

• Around 30 doctors of science (mostly chemists) work in our Research and Development departments.
• Around 90 graduates (mostly scientists and business studies graduates) hold responsible posts in our production, maintenance or administrative departments.
• Our production departments employ around 650 skilled workers and employees with additional qualifications (e.g. technicians and master craftsmen).
• Our administrative departments employ about 210 staff with the appropriate vocational training and in some cases further training.

Fluctuation is very low and length of service correspondingly high, as many employees have been with ECKART ever since they joined the company as apprentices. On average, they have 14 years' experience with our products and production methods and have a thorough knowledge of the sector, our customers and our competitors. We know that this knowledge is of the utmost value to our company on a number of levels and in all our departments. We attach great importance to vocational training and further training in order to attract and retain staff.
