ECKART E-Zine On Metallic Inks Helps Designers And Brand Owners Benefit Using Eye-Catching Effects

ECKART America’s unique tool for the graphic arts industry generates awareness for the marketing influence that metallic effects add to all types of packaging, labels, and print publishing.

The e-zine, titled, “Be Brilliant,” is provided for free to product brand owners, graphic designers, advertising agencies, and other creatives that are always looking for new and innovative solutions to make their brands stand out.

“Branding is about being noticed, being remembered, and being bought,” explains Pete Brown, ECKART Business Development Manager of Graphic Arts. “With the right designs, metallic special effects in silver, gold, copper and others, have a strong influence on making a brand jump off a shelf, or creating the right aura to reflect a product’s high-end appeal. The possibilities are endless for success.”

“Be Brilliant” covers a range of interesting articles accompanied by striking photos that show special effect inks used in various print platforms. Typical articles include how and why metallics get a viewer’s attention, various ways they are used in packaging and publishing, new effect design trends, case studies of successful product designs, and design tips/ideas on outstanding brand decoration.

Also presented in each issue are various resources available from ECKART including technical and marketing information on the wide range of ECKART effect inks offered to the graphic arts industry. In addition, other factors that impact metallic designs are discussed such as new technologies, various paper and film substrates, how different types of printing processes affect designs, and achieving ‘mirror-like’ effects that rival foil.
