with METALURE® Aluminium Dispersions

METALURE® dispersions are micro-mirrors of mysterious brilliance, able to simulate the reflectivity and flash of foils, hot foil stamping and vacuum metallizing. Low pigment loadings and the absence of any surface lubricants help inks based on METALURE® dispersions achieve a high degree of film integrity, rub resistance and intercoat adhesion.

METALURE® offers a range of versatility for paper, board and packaging film applications. It elevates the capability of the print process to new heights of brilliance.

METALURE® L-50000 series

  • are dispersions containing 10% aluminium pigment and 90% solvent
  • are recommended for formulations mainly based on Acetates and Glycol Ethers
  • provide a light and white high brilliant metallic effect
  • are not suitable for water-based or alcohol rich formulations

METALURE® A-40000 series

  • are dispersions containing 10% aluminium pigment and 90% solvent
  • offer a wide compatibility in acetate-, alcohol- and glycolbased ink systems (not suitable for water-based formulations)
  • provide an exceptional hiding power and metallic effect as well as a more chrome-like appearance than the METALURE® L-50000 series
  • are especially recommended for reverse applications on transparent film and plastic substrates to achieve mirror-like effects (e. g. flexible film packaging, pressure-sensitive labels etc.)
