STANDART® Aluminium Pigments

The STANDART® leafing aluminium pigments are suitable for solvent borne screen inks. Crystalline sparkling to silky gloss silver effects can be achieved depending on the particle size of choice. For water borne or UV curing screen inks the stabilised aluminium pigment of the STANDART® PCS series is recommended.

The STANDART® PCS series represents a new generation of high performance aluminium pigments. The PCS aluminium pigments are completely encapsulated with a very stable surface coating of nanocrystalline silicone dioxide units created in a special sol-gel process. The STANDART® PCS series exhibits excellent chemical resistance as well as good pigment wetting and excellent nonleafing properties.
Due to the excellent chemical resistance the PCS aluminium pigments are also ideal for the use in water borne or UV curing ink systems.
