Synthetic Pearlescent Pigments
ECKART offers a new generation of pearlescent pigments based on synthetic mica substrates under the brand name SYMIC.
Via a special chemical production process synthetic mica pigments can be produced with a lower level of impurities compared to natural mica. Therefore SYMIC pearl pigments show a high clarity of colour and their level of brilliance exceeds significantly the level of comparable natural mica based pearls.
The sparkle effect of SYMIC pigments highlights prints in many applications: screen, tower coater & gravure – especially when used in overprint varnishes.
Printing equipment for coarse pigments matches the print requirements for the SYMIC range.
