Aluminium pigments for ultra brilliant plastic mass coloration

ECKART offers a new aluminium pigment under the brand name SILVERSHINE.
This is an extremely thin aluminium pigment with very good application  properties and outstanding brilliance and hiding power.

 

SILVERSHINE pigments enable plastic processors to achieve silver metallic qualities in mass tinting that could so far only be achieved by surface coating technologies.

SILVERSHINE displays a pronounced flop, a high brilliance and extraordinary light and metallic optical effects.
The flop behaviour can be balanced by combinations with silver white pearls and thus enables the plastics industry to match via mass tinting a variety of different colour shades that are currently achieved by plastics coating.

  • High opacity – approximately 30% higher compared to regular silver dollar  type pigments with similar particle size distribution

SILVERSHINE contains 80% aluminium pigments, the carriers are either purified medical white oil for food contact, or di- isononyl-phtalate solvent or a universally compatible carrier.
