Pastes
The advantages of Stapa® gold bronze pigment pastes over Standart® gold bronze pigment powders are dust-free processing and better dispersibility. The choice of solvent depends on its compatibility with the plastic to be processed. The same guidelines as outlined for gold bronze powder also apply to the use of coated RESIST pigments.
The metallic pigment content of Stapa® gold bronze pastes is:
- Gold bronze 88 %
- Gold bronze Resist 82 %
- The temperature stability for uncoated pigments is approx. 190 °C and, for Resist pigments, a minimum of 260 °C
