The new SYMIC OEM Superfine Opaque Silver for automotive and exterior coatings enriches the SYMIC OEM Opaque series as the product with the finest particle size. Its uncoated version, SYMIC A604, is suitable for interior applications. SYMIC A604 and SYMIC OEM Superfine Opaque Silver impress with their high hiding power and create a fascinating and smooth silver-grey finish.
One product series, two pigment worlds
ECKART's established SYMIC OEM Opaque Silver series for automotive coatings and exterior applications successfully combines the benefits of two different pigment worlds: The metallic look and flop of an aluminum pigment with the functional properties and low radar damping of a pearlescent pigment.
We could only use similar competitive products for the comparison, which have a color shift to bluish or brownish and a lower metallic effect. In contrast to SYMIC OEM Opaque Silver, no competitive product with weather treatment is available. Comparison of opacity (max. 100%), brightness, flop, and D50 of four pigments with each other, with the same layer thickness.
