When it comes to gold color tones for coatings, issues such as the heavy metal content, the sometimes poor resistance and greenishing must be taken into consideration. ECKART now presents a solution: With our micas and anodized aluminum pigments, all standard gold shades - from rich gold, pale gold, rich pale gold to copper - can be easily reproduced. From a technical point of view, these glamorous pigment solutions impress with their high stability.
For your fast realization, we are happy to offer you starting formulations for three of our most popular shades:
SYMIC synthetic pearlescent pigments exhibit very pure brilliance. They are based on synthetic mica coated with TiO2 and iron oxide. SYMIC pigments create optical effects that show higher color purity compared with conventional pearlescent pigments based on natural mica.
Their optical effects are especially visible in full color shades which show an extraordinary high brilliance and color strength. SYMIC pearlescent pigments are available in a wide range of different particle sizes.
LUXAN glass pearl pigments have a structure similar to that of pearlescent pigments, but are based on highly transparent flakes of glass coated with metal oxides.
These extraordinary pigments can create much greater transparency than is possible with conventional pearlescent pigments.
LUXAN pigments demonstrate high brilliance and strong color intensity thanks to their very homogeneous surface.
In combination with color pigments, they also create intensive glitter effects.
EDELSTEIN is ECKART’s high chroma pearlescent pigments. Thanks to the innovative, patented coating technology of metal oxide and the selection of premium synthetic silicate, EDELSTEIN pigments provide unique color intensity.

INFORMATIONOur SHINEDECOR pigment concentrates give walls and other surfaces such as wood or leather an individual and impressive shine. SHINEDECOR can be easily and directly incorporated.
The concentrates provide the glossy accents in ecological wall paints, water-based wood varnishes and decorative paints.
If you would like to use these pigments for outdoor applications such as automotive coatings, pigments are required that come along with a specially modified surface to protect the paint against UV radiations. For high chemical and weather stability, we recommend the CFX and OEM product variants of SYMIC, EDELSTEIN and LUXAN.
