Lubricants

ECKARTs micro-fine copper flakes are a perfect ingredient for low-friction, anti-seize lubricants – even under high temperature conditions. Such lubricants containing copper flakes create a barrier to prevent metal to metal contact of the thread form, thus reducing seizing and galling.

Copper flakes are malleable and ductile, allowing them to compact and deform without fracturing, thereby, forming a seal in the thread form of casing or between the shoulders of rotary connections.
