Many different requirements are set regarding wood coatings. They must not only impress from an optical point of view, but also – in many fields of application – protect against weathering and graying.
For the coating of wood and wood-based materials, different coatings systems are used on account of the different surfaces, geometries and application systems: water-based, solvent- based and UV curing.
Depending on the individual customers‘ requirements, ECKART offers pigments that underline the natural beauty of the wood, that provide friendly and warm effects and pigments that fulfill functional demands, such as IR reflection, UV radiation and protection against weathering.
